Creative Brief (English)
BackgroundThis Yoga Studio is introducing Yin Yoga as a new class this September, alongside its existing, more dynamic yoga offering. The rentrée period is the studio's strongest enrolment window, but also the most competitive: every wellness and fitness brand runs a "back to it" campaign at the same time, most of them selling energy and re-motivation.
ObjectiveDrive sign-ups for the new Yin Yoga class by reframing the rentrée moment: not another thing to push through, but the one hour a week where nothing is asked of the practitioner except to stay still.
AudienceAdults 30 to 50, professionally active, already familiar with faster yoga or fitness formats, curious about Yin Yoga but unsure whether it "counts" as real exercise.
Key messageThis September, The Studio is asking for the opposite of what everyone else is asking: stillness.
Tone & mandatoriesWarm, confident, grounded in one real detail of the practice (poses held for several minutes, work on connective tissue rather than muscle). No wellness clichés ("energy", "journey", "flow", "balance"). No sacred or exoticised imagery (Om, mandalas, lotus). Every deliverable must include: the campaign line, the class start date and time, and the introductory offer.
Deliverables
  • Campaign line, for the studio's homepage banner and a printed poster
  • Instagram post: caption plus a short visual direction note
  • Facebook post: caption, longer and more informational, per platform norms
  • Newsletter email: subject line and full body copy

Septembre s'emballe. Sur le tapis, tout s'arrête.

Yin Yoga, nouveau cours dès le lundi 8 septembre. Studio Yoga, LILLE.

Visual note: a still, empty mat in natural light. No additional iconography, no text beyond the line and the practical details above. The stillness of the image should carry the message the copy leaves unsaid.

Septembre s'emballe.

Visual note: single still image or short static video of one held pose, natural light, no music overlay text.

Creative Rationale (English)
Campaign line

Built as a two-beat contrast rather than a stated benefit: naming the expected rentrée pace first, then cutting against it in a short second sentence. "S'emballe" was chosen over more literal options for its loss-of-control connotation, and "le tapis" (the mat) was chosen over more abstract words like "pose" or "posture" because it names the one concrete, recognisable object the practice happens on.

Platform differentiation

Instagram stays close to the campaign line and keeps the caption short, in line with the platform's brevity norms. Facebook carries the same message but with more explanatory context, since Facebook audiences typically read longer, more informational captions than Instagram audiences do.

Imagery and tone

No sacred or exoticised symbols (Om, mandalas, lotus) appear anywhere in the copy or the visual notes. This follows a documented concern in yoga marketing, where such imagery is used decoratively and disconnected from its cultural origin. Every claim about the practice is grounded in one verifiable detail (held poses, connective tissue) rather than a mood word.

Mandatories

The campaign line, start date, and introductory offer appear identically across all four deliverables, as a real agency brief would require for message consistency across formats.
